What this is

Wir Buchverliebten is an application for small book clubs reading the same book together. Notes are delivered by reading position rather than by time: what somebody writes about chapter twelve only becomes visible once you have arrived there yourself. The service is free, ad-free and independent.

Purpose and editorial line

There is no company. Wir Buchverliebten is a private project run by one person, with no intention of profit, no revenue and no employees. Editorial line under the Media Act: information about reading together in book clubs and about the application itself.

Liability for content

Our own content has been produced with care. No warranty is given for the accuracy or completeness of information about books, editions and chapter structures. Where a chapter mapping has not been verified, the application marks it as unverified and applies a safety margin.

Contributions written by members of a book club reflect their own views and not those of the media owner.

Liability for links

This site links to external offerings, for instance to publishers and bookshops. We have no influence over their content and accept no liability for it. The respective provider is always responsible.

Copyright

Our own texts and design elements are protected by copyright. Book titles, author names and bibliographic data remain the property of the respective rights holders and are used for identification only.

Books are never uploaded to our servers. We store only the structure of a book, meaning chapter names and their relative positions, along with your own reading position.

Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. The service is free of charge and no purchase contract is concluded.
